The Hancock & Moore Difference

In 1981, Hancock & Moore was founded by Jack Glasheen and Jimmy Moore. They were experts in furnishings, aiming to build exceptional furniture. Their commitment to quality meant they would settle for nothing less than skilled craftsmanship and premium materials.

Hancock & Moore made a name for themselves in the following decades with their unswerving attention to detail. Skilled artisans make their furniture and only use the finest woods, buttery leather, and finely crafted hardware. They also provide customization options, so you can have furniture that shows their devotion to excellence and your unique style.

Each piece of furniture is signed by the artisan who crafted it, showing their pride and willingness to stand behind their work.

The Art of Customization

Each piece of Hancock & Moore furniture is special because artisans have worked hard to create it. But they are also unique in another way: you can customize your furniture to create the exact piece you’re dreaming of.

Hancock & Moore offers an impressive array of customization options. You can change the color of the upholstery, the finish, the nail head shape, and the size. You can add visual interest to some pieces with branding or hand painting. The wood is treated with a 21-step process for flawless results, and you can choose from over 51 finishes.

Many stores sell furniture, but finding the exact piece you’re looking for can still be frustrating. Customizing a beautiful item makes your furniture entirely your own. You will not only have a unique piece of furniture, but you’ll also have the exact one you wanted for your space. Customization allows you to match the color palette of your home and the feeling you want to create in the space.
